SNOW DAYS!

We finally got a big snow storm in Portland! Luckily we were able to get out with Brian's car for some trips to Starbucks, the store and the gym. The kids loved sledding on our hill, making thousands of snow angels and a 4 day weekend!

Zoolights

We finally made it to zoolights! No one froze and no one whined that the train wasn't in order! Win win!

Ben turns 7!

Our silly, sweet, curious middle child turned 7 earlier this month.  He celebrated with friends at Stoneworks Climbing gym and then a visit with Santa later that day. Hard to believe this little guy is growing up so fast.

Ben and Lizzie were the only kids who would go near Santa this year. :) 
We had a little trouble getting the 10 foot tree up... it fell over 3x and then the stand broke.  I just pulled the ladder in to put the lights on and we only have one working strand! Yikes!

Thanksgiving together!

We had such an awesome day yesterday!  Started by running the Oak Hills Turkey Trot with good friends... and then dinner at my sister's house.  We laughed and ate and drank and had the best time.  The kids played football and did Christmas crafts and enjoyed kicking off the holidays together for the first time in 3 years.  Even the puppy was exhausted!
