Seattle weekend!

We spent the weekend in Seattle watching baseball and exploring the city.  We were able to get Lizzie One Direction tickets for her birthday -- and didn't tell her that we had VIP passes to meet the band and go to a sound check/meet and greet party!  She was so excited!  Ellen and I survived 20,000 screaming tween girls and didn't embarrass Sam and Lizzie too much.  Such a fun weekend!

Soccer Camp

The boys have been at UK soccer camp this week -- today was international day.  We are hosting a coach again this year from England and the boys are loving having him around.  Harper and I have been having playdates, exploring the zoo and enjoying the quiet. :)

Hamilton

The kids and I got to puppy sit yesterday... Hamilton is the cutest little guy!  There is nothing cuter than a puppy but man they are a lot of work!  Just like having a baby in the house!

Relaxing at the beach!

We spent the weekend with friends at the beach... perfect weather and the kids had a ball with their friends.

First marathon!

On the 4th of July I ran my first EVER marathon... the Foot Traffic Flat on Sauvie's Island. What a magical day!  I had friends cheering, biking and running with me along the course and the support was amazing.

Stephanie, Nicole and I before the start.  These two are amazing runners and friends.  They have both helped me so much along this journey!  Steph ran the first 4 miles with me and then got on her bike to support some of our friends running the half, and then met me at mile 20 to run the last 6.
Mile 2...

About mile 13-14
 Mile 18
Mile 25... this was my favorite part of the race.  As much as I wanted to be done, it was amazing being surrounded by my friends and team mates... carrying me when I thought I couldn't go on any further.  These women are so tough and knew exactly how to push me to meet my goal and keep me moving.  So, so grateful and love this photo!  Looks like I have my own entourage!

Done!  3:27:49 and qualified for Boston!  So happy!
