Battleground Lake State Park

A few weeks ago we spent the afternoon at Battleground Lake State Park. It was beautiful and the kids had their first experience swimming in a lake! We swam out to a fallen log and they had a blast trying to see who could climb up and jump off the fastest without falling...over and over and over!  Loving summer!

Halloween 2013

A little behind but here are a few pix of Halloween!  We had the scream guy, a cop and Cinderella this year... trick or treating with their cousins and the next day off of school. Perfect!

Seattle weekend!

We spent the weekend in Seattle watching baseball and exploring the city.  We were able to get Lizzie One Direction tickets for her birthday -- and didn't tell her that we had VIP passes to meet the band and go to a sound check/meet and greet party!  She was so excited!  Ellen and I survived 20,000 screaming tween girls and didn't embarrass Sam and Lizzie too much.  Such a fun weekend!

Water Balloons

The kids set up a water balloon carnival the other night... stations with activities for everyone.  Love the creativity!  Talent shows, dance contests, sports camp, and art class are some of the other fun ideas they've come up with.

Cousins!

Lizzie and Ian are back from Singapore!  The kids are over the moon happy!  They haven't seen each other since last summer but have picked right up where they left off and are they best of buddies. School is now out and the sleepovers have started!

Sunday night

Fastest month ever.  Kids enjoyed every minute and were having a hard time saying goodbye tonight.  Hoping the next year flies by.
