Last week our running team put on two events to raise awareness and funds for the Achon Uganda Children's Fund. The first event was held at Vinter's Cellar in the pearl... great food, wine, service... definitely check this place out! There was a huge turn out! So many people showed up to hear Julius recount his incredible story. On Saturday we sponsored a relay race at Catlin Gabel... All proceeds going directly to AUCF to assist them in operating the new health center in Uganda, and to support children orphaned after years of civil war. We had such a fun morning, and it was awesome seeing so many people come together for a great cause - runners, non-runners, coworkers, families, and friends. There was great music, food, raffle items and tons of good energy!
Ben had his first kick and chase game today. He says he doesn't like soccer and is usually goofing around during practices... today he was up and down the field kicking the ball, blocking goals and scored 2 of his own!

Oak Hills is having their annual neighborhood garage sale this weekend. Picked this bike up for $10 and she is one happy girl! Thought she wouldn't be too thrilled that it wasn't pink...but added a pink bell and we're good!
Uncle Barry has been hanging at our place this week and the kids have been loving it! One last trip to the park and hopefully he'll be back for more soon!
Here we go... the first day of school 2012! Sam is going into 3rd grade and Ben into kindergarten. Hard to believe! Harper doesn't know what to think - she spends her days following them around and doing everything they do!
