Lizzie will be turning the big 8 on Tuesday!! Since they are leaving Monday for SINGAPORE, we had her party tonight!. Mom made pink tissue poms and I made pink cupcake pops.

Lizzie and Ian leave for their Singapore adventure on Monday! They are having a sleepover with us tonight and all are crashed out on the floor in the boys' room. They made pizzas, played at the park, danced and sang to music on my iPod, had popcorn, put on a dog show and laughed a lot. A great night!
We had a fun day celebrating summer with Lizzie and Ian... bike riding, playing at the park, sprinklers, slip n slide, Justin Beiber performances, pizza, playing secret agent and more. Ben and Ian were tearing it up on the slip n slide!

We had such a fun 4th this year! After the parade and party in the park we had everyone over for a BBQ and scavenger hunt. The kids were SO wound up and excited for fireworks. We did a bunch of sparklers and cones out in front of the house and had planned on heading over to the BIG Oak Hills fireworks show. At the last minute, we decided to try a spot over at Claremont - just a couple of blocks away and there was NO ONE there! We had a perfect view of the fireworks... no crowds or traffic. The kids all huddled together on the blanket and repeatedly asked every 10 seconds..."Is this the grand finale?" It only took 2 minutes to get home and everyone settled into their beds. It was a great weekend!
Aunt Susie drove up to Portland today to see the kiddos and the Arnold's before they head off to Singapore in 2 weeks! We spent the afternoon decorating bikes for the parade and having an impromptu BBQ.
Sam spent last week playing golf at Red Tail and loved it. They have a great camp that keeps them excited about going back each day. They spent time on the driving range and putting green, played a scramble out on the golf course, a poison tournament and a few games like tick, tack, chip etc. A fun week with new friends!
