The boys have been wearing their costumes around the house for a week! Tonight the Ninja, Super Mario and little duck were ready to hit the streets by 5:30!
The boys wanted to rake a huge pile of leaves today... my dad cleaned up our yard this week so they moved on down to the neighbor's house! They had plenty of leaves for all!
So fun carving pumpkins with the kids tonight. Sam did the carving all on his own this year and loved it... notice the pumpkin with 2 noses!? Ben wanted scary pumpkins with triangle eyes and teeth. :-)
Brian is heading out of town tomorrow for 4 days...we will be spending a lot of time outside burning off energy! I'm trying not to look at the calendar as the next few days are really crazy. One day at a time, right? :-)
Made the annual trip to the pumpkin patch today. Kids had a great time climbing on the hay, riding the tractor, roaming through the pumpkin patch and pumpkin bowling. I think ht highlight for Sam was the kettle corn... the kid never stops eating!
Wasn't the same without Lizzie and Ian! Miss you guys so much!
Ben's preschool class lucked out on Monday... no rain at the pumpkin patch! It had been pouring all morning and it was actually pretty nice the whole time we were there. Our first trip to Plumper Pumpkin Patch! It was great - hayride, lots of animals, slides and pumpkins. Ben found a caterpillar! This farm was great for my animal loving kid! Turkeys, ducks, baby chicks, baby cows, goats, baby pigs, donkeys, ponies and even a dog that tried to follow us home.
