Scorpions

Soccer is winding down for the boys.  Ben played his last game yesterday and Sam has one more before the season is over.  Sam's team hasn't had a winning year... but they do have great coaches and a fun group of boys.  They have come a long way since last year and it's so much fun watching them work together :-)

Pilots Soccer

The boys were the "pilots of the day" tonight at the U of P soccer game!

We left at half time since it was a late game and the kids have school tomorrow.  The Pilots were head 2-1 and Sam was NOT happy that we were leaving...

Harper starts preschool!

Harper had her first day of preschool today!  She is old enough for the 2s class at the same school Ben went to the last few years.  Her class meets once a week for 2 hours.  The parents stay onsite since they are only 2... she loved it!

 

Run Uganda Events

Last week our running team put on two events to raise awareness and funds for the Achon Uganda Children's Fund.  The first event was held at Vinter's Cellar in the pearl... great food, wine, service... definitely check this place out!  There was a huge turn out!  So many people showed up to hear Julius recount his incredible story.  On Saturday we sponsored a relay race at Catlin Gabel... All proceeds going directly to AUCF to assist them in operating the new health center in Uganda, and to support children orphaned after years of civil war.  We had such a fun morning, and it was awesome seeing so many people come together for a great cause - runners, non-runners, coworkers, families, and friends.  There was great music, food, raffle items and tons of good energy!
