Snow Day!

We finally got some snow! They were predicting quite a storm and then said we might not get anything... so the boys were excited to wake up Thursday morning with an inch or two on the ground and school canceled. We threw snowballs, made snow angels and mini-snowmen and tried to sled on our hill, but the sun was quickly melting everything away. Sam actually ATE quite a bit of snow... as did the dogs. Poor Ben had a fever and we didn't even realize it until we came in to warm up. Wish the snow would have stuck around longer but it was fun for the few hours it lasted!

6 Months!

Harper turned 6 months old yesterday! She is a super smiley mama's girl, loves her brothers, grabs everything in reach and tries to put it in her mouth, just discovered her feet, and has decided that she isn't much into sleeping. :-)

Thursdays

Thursday afternoons Sam and his buddy Allison have swimming lessons, so I load up the kids and head to the pool. I usually put a life jacket on Ben and throw him in too.
Ben doesn't want to miss out on the action... so he usually swims along side the lesson and tries to talk to Mike (the instructor) the entire time.
or... the rubber ducky. Ben loves to talk and and will pretty much talk to anyone who will listen!
"This life jacket is too big!" he kept yelling to me!

When Sam and Allison first started swimming lessons, she was terrified! Now she swims like a fish!

The fun comes when the boys are done and Harper is hungry... they are cold and want to get in the shower, not share the shower, not get out of the shower, Ben wants to pee down the shower drain, Sam tries to walk around the family changing room naked and totally clueless etc... Sound fun?!

Teeth!

We have had some major tooth drama around here the last few days! Sam's front teeth were crazy loose and he wouldn't let anyone pull them out. I finally pulled the first one out Saturday. He was super excited for the tooth fairy - especially since she left a flashing spiderman toothbrush in the loot...he's easy to please!
I tricked him into letting me pull the other one out today after school since he could barely eat. He looks like such a big kid now!

Celebrating 75!

Last night we celebrated Brian's dad's 75th birthday! We had a great time with everyone and had a huge Italian dinner... followed by pie, cake, cookies and presents! PERFECT!
